New Orleans Board Members
Meet our Board:
Allison Gouaux
Allison, a Thibodaux, Louisiana native, moved to New Orleans in 2006 after finishing her Master’s degree in Public Relations and Advertising from the University of Alabama, to join the agency, Beuerman Miller Fitzgerald, and to be a part of the city’s recovery from Hurricane Katrina. Ever since her arrival, Allison has worked on public relations campaigns for several clients such as Southern Comfort and Community Coffee and has been an active member of the young professionals community. She is an active member of the New Orleans Press Club, the American Marketing Association, and a volunteer with the American Cancer Society. Being a cancer survivor herself, Allison knows the importance of play and how helpful and uplifting it can be in any type of situation. Allison is looking forward to using her Public Relations expertise to spread the word about Playworks and portray the benefits of the organization in the New Orleans community.
