Playworks is about rebuilding our educational system by creating an educational movement that puts play at the center of school improvement efforts. We know play works as a strategy for supporting teaching and learning, as well as improving the overall health and wellbeing of children -- addressing many of the possible underlying causes of student participation in school.  Playworks is a catalyst for bringing play to America's school yards everyday. With your support, we will be well positioned to build a movement in support of play, and to connect people to this movement. By expanding Playworks programming throughout the country, we are working to create a massive national network of parents, teachers, principals, volunteers, physicans, funders and others to share our commitment to make systematic change that will help all children be successful.
