About Playworks

We believe in the power of play to bring out the best in kids. Playworks Colorado supports learning for 10,000 elementary students at 16 low-income schools by providing safe, healthy and inclusive play and physical activity at recess and throughout the entire school day. Playworks is the only nonprofit organization in the country to send trained, full-time coaches to low-income schools, where they transform recess and play into a positive experience that helps kids and teachers get the most out of every learning opportunity. Our coaches run research evidence-based programming that reduces bullying, increases physical activity, improves classroom focus and promotes social-emotional well-being throughout the school environment.

Sponsorships are available at varying levels. For more information, contact Ian Jacobs at (720) 432-5219 or ijacobs@playworks.org.
