Governor Doug Ducey Tours Loma Linda Elementary School

Governor Doug Ducey visited Loma Linda Elementary School in Creighton Elementary School District on April 18, 2016. During his visit, Governor Ducey was able to observe Playworks, an innovative play-based learning program in its fourth year of implementation at Loma Linda Elementary school. Designed to improve recess time for students, Playworks focuses on social and emotional development of kids through increased physical activity, inclusion and the power of play. Governor Ducey met with students, staff and Junior Coach Leadership Program participants during his time at Loma Linda.
